The playback menu allows you to view and download recorded events that have been stored on a microSD card. This includes scheduled recordings, IVS events, snapshots, etc. Recordings can be downloaded using the web user interface or using the Helix Pro mobile app. For more information on how to view/download a recording please refer to the information provided below.
Viewing and Downloading a Recording Using the Web UI
Step 1: Log in to the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here.
Step 2: Click on Playback.
Step 3: Use the provided calendar to select a date. Dates with recordings will be underlined.
Step 4: Once a date is selected, use the timeline to scroll through events of the day. If you want to view a specific time, enter the time of the event into the time search field and click the Go button.
Use the different colored record types (continuous, motion, IVS/audio) to filter and view specific types of recordings. To view a full list of all events, click the File List option. A manual snapshot or video of the recording can be taken and downloaded while the recording is being played.
Step 6: To download a recording, select an event from the file list and click the download button ( ). The status of the recording can be viewed in the download list by clicking the download list icon.
The recording will be saved to your computer. A recording can also be downloaded to your mobile device using the Helix Pro app.

Step 1: Open the app, select your device, and click on Playback.
Step 2: Tap Video Download, enter the start and end time of the event, and tap Start Download.
Note: The status of the download can be viewed in the download list.
Step 3: Tap Check download progress to check the status of the download. Once complete, it will be saved to your mobile device.
