The date & time settings should automatically sync to your PC's or mobile device's system time settings, however, if the date and time settings need to be adjusted, they can be modified manually if needed. For more information on how to adjust the date & time please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log in to the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here.
Step 2: Click on Settings>>General and select the Date & Time tab. Verify the correct time zone and click Apply.
Step 3: The camera will sync to the current PC time, however, to verify, click the Manual Set option and Sync PC.
Note: If the camera is connected to the cloud it will automatically connect to the NTP server. Ensure the proper DST options are applied if needed to set the appropriate date & time settings. If using the Helix app on your mobile device, tap the settings icon>>configuration center>>system and update the date & time settings according to your preference.
