The IVS settings menu allows the user to adjust the sensitivity of set IVS or human detection events as well as set active deterrents such as an onboard warning light and set light duration if needed. The sensitivity will be set to default (4) however can be adjusted between 1 and 5, 5 being the most sensitive. To activate an active deterrent, enable the Warning Light option and set a light duration for the deterrent.
Note: The warning light deterrent will only function when the camera switches to night vision mode and is only applicable to Smart Illumination mode. This is the default night vision mode however for more information on how to change night vision modes, click here.
Step 1: Log in to the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here.
Step 2: Click on Settings>>Event>>IVS Settings, click Warning Light, then click Apply.
The warning light will now be applied to each AI feature that is configured in the camera.
