Helix NVRs utilize different record types in the playback menu, "Continuous" (green) which supports 24/7 continuous recordings, "Motion" (yellow) which displays motion detection events, and IVS/Audio (blue) which displays IVS and audio detection events detected by the device. By default, the NVR will display each event in the timeline, however, to filter the events using a web user interface please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into the NVR directly or using the NVR's web user interface (web UI). For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here.
Step 2: Click the Playback.
Step 3: Select the applicable channel from the device list as well as the date & time of the event you would like to filter. The events for those events for the selected days will be displayed in the timeline.
Note: The timeline can zoom in or out on timeline by selecting the 1h, 6h, 12h, or 24h option if needed.
Step 4: Use the filter options to view and filter only specific events. For instance, in this example we are viewing only IVS or audio detection events that occurred for the selected day in the timeline.
