The Password Management menu allows you to modify the current password associated with your NVR. For more information on how to modify the password for your NVR using the Helix Pro app please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open the Helix Pro app and select the device settings option for your device on the home screen () and select Settings.
Step 2: Tap Configuration Center, select System, and tap Password Management.
Step 3: To modify the password, enter the current password for your NVR into the “Old Password” field. After the current password has been entered, enter the updated password into the “New Password” field and confirm it. Tap Save to apply the new password to your NVR.
Step 4: Since the password has been modified, the password for the NVR will need to be changed in the app. To update the password, navigate back to settings screen and select the Edit icon ()for the NVR. Enter the new password into the Password field and click Apply. The device will come back online in the app.
