The Tripwire menu allows you to create a virtual line drawn within a camera's field of view that triggers an automated alert or recording whenever an object crosses it in a specified direction. For more information on how to set a tripwire rule please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open the Helix Pro app and select the device settings option for your device on the home screen () and select Settings.
Step 2: Select Configuration Center, select events, and select Tripwire.
Step 3: Select a channel (if using an NVR) and tap Enable. Tap Detection Area. Use your finger to draw a detection line on the screen. Select a direction in which the object will be detected, B->A (right to left), A->B (right to left), A <->B (both directions). Tap Apply.
