The Helix Surveillance Pro software provides many different features when it comes to playback to help you better keep view, manage, search, and download recording events all from one central location. For more information on how to use the playback feature in this software please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into your Helix Surveillance Pro software and select Playback to begin.
Step 2: A list of connected devices will be visible in the Device menu. Select a device from this menu to its view recordings. If viewing multiple devices, Use the window icons to view a single, 4, 9, or 16 window layout. Select a window in the layout and then select the device to view multi windowed layouts.
Select a window in the layout and then select the device to view multiple channels in the layout.
The recordings for each selected device will be visible in the timeline. Use your mouse to scroll the timeline of events. The calendar will also display days with available recordings and will be underlined green if recordings are available for that day.
Step 3: Use the "Time Interval option to view different increments of events in the timeline. Different recording types will be displayed in the timeline. Green represents continuous recordings, blue represents IVS/audio, and red represents motion detection.
To download a clip of the recording or recordings, select the scissor option (clip icon) and select the devices. Scroll on the timeline using your mouse to set the start and end time of the clipped recording and click the green checkmark. The download will begin and download to the set file destination.
Note: To set a specific storage path for the software, click the gear wheel icon, File Store, and select the desired storage path for pictures and videos.
